The Trade Licensing Office is a department of the Brno City Hall

providing state administration of commercial activities pursuant to Act No. 455/1991 Coll. (Trade Licensing Act), as amended, carrying out other activities within the scope stipulated by special legislation; it is the central registration point (CRP) to receive applications for registration and notification for the tax authority, for the social security administration, for Labour Office and health insurance companies. The  Trade Licensing Office operates the trade register and functions as the  single point of contact (PSC).

CzechInvest – Regional Office for the South Moravian Region

provides information on the  services of the CzechInvest agency, consults with company representatives the possibilities of business support from EU Structural Fund, which CzechInvest manages, helps companies that are interested in implementing their investment in the region, works together with representatives of local governments, schools and other regional institutions on the search of opportunities to develop the business environment in the region.

Brno Expat Centre.

The Brno Expat Centre was established by the civic association Brnopolis (implemented with financial support of the City of Brno) to serve the highly skilled expats who work and live in Brno by offering individual consultation and advice. In addition to individual counselling, BEC organizes seminars and informal meetings and allows the exchange of experience and contacts in the English language as well as through web services on their social networking channels. The Brno Expat Centre offers individual counselling in person, by phone and by e-mail, including issues such as official documents relating to residence and work in the Czech Republic, social and health insurance, driving licenses, financial and tax matters, accommodation, lodging and medical care.
